Show Notes

With everything that is happening in the world right now many of us are bound to be feeling sad. Unfortunately in such times, it is easy to fall into the trap of not dealing with these feelings of sadness but to rather resort to minimizing them and not really experiencing them in order to move forward. “Snap out of it” anyone?

This week we consider all things to do with the emotion of sadness and why it is important to sit with your sadness instead of brushing it off or just “counting your blessings” instead.

We will discuss:

🔹How your sadness can help you to appreciate the human experience holistically

🔹The science behind why it is important for you to cry when you feel the need to!

🔹What sitting with your sadness can teach you

🔹Why it’s important to give yourself permission to feel sad

If you struggle with feeling your sadness or think that it is selfish to feel sad when you have so much to be thankful for, this episode will definitely help you to put things into perspective so be sure to listen in!
